» WHAT B2G LEARNT
NIGERIAS RELIGIOUS IDENTITY POLITICS:THOUGH NO RELIGION IFS FREE OF ERRORS.WE TEND TO OVER-EMPHASIZE THE ERRORS IN OTHER PEOPLES FAITH WHILE EMPHASIZING THE BEST PART
OF OURS.Instead of going the other way:remedying the faults in our own
religions and striving to better understand what we may be ignorant of
or uncomfortable with in others religious ways. In other words-we have
politicized (faith in God)religion to a point where each sects (even
within a single religion) see itself as speaking and fighting for God
and vice verse.you see people in each group praying for the others
failure,or for the other religious to give up and come begging that they
have been evil and wrong. And that is far from real. The messages of our
different Books calls us to learn, enable and love each others But we
build barricades (ACTS2:39-40,ROM14:19,QURAN49:6)to prevent
information, resources and people from meeting each other.NOW we need to
change.
